We expect a certain level of maturity out of our members including:
Cheating, hacking, botting, etc are obviously not permissible and will result in an instant kick.
While the game is extremely competitve, don't let your frustration with the game turn on your teammates. If things are getting out of hand log off and take the time to cool down if you need it.
If you have an issue with the way something is going, bring it to an officers attention at the appropriate time, without attempting to undermine the leadership or cause drama.
Our members are responsible in some sense for anything they say in any medium, forums, vent, guild chat, etc:
ALL members are expected to join vent. A mic is not required, but being on our vent server is.
No shrieking or ear-splitting noises in vent. Playing music over vent is also in most circumstances not appropriate. If things are going on in the background please have your mic on push to talk.
During any type of serious event where many people are present, vent needs to be clear of any off-topic dicussion. People need to be able to communicate with those around them quickly and effectively, and leaders need to be able to steer the battle without having to talk over people.
Similarly our alliance chat channel is shared with many members, so keep it clear of idle chat. Use it to gather people for any event, not to discuss your favorite flavor of pie (apple > all).
Keep guild chat, alliance chat, and ventrilo relatively clear of anything having to do with touchy subject areas (politics, religion). Some people enjoy constructive discussions on debated topics, other people have to listen to opinionated people all day and don't need to hear more.
As a guideline keep forum trolling to a minimum. There is a line between a harmless joke or a little teasing and being nasty or vindictive.
Really, all that we the leadership can ask is that you give it your all:
When open world RVR (scheduled or non-scheduled) is happening it is our expectation that members will make it their top priority to attend, and to contribute what they have.
We don't care for a mentality where members are out for themselves or have no desire to better themselves and play hard.
